We do everything we can to protect your privacy and therefore treat your personal data with care. Youth Orchestra Flanders complies at all times with the applicable laws and regulations, including the European General Data Protection Regulation.

Which personal data on our participants do we process and why:
By participants, we mean all persons who take part in the activities of Youth Orchestra Flanders. We collect the following data from them:
Surname and given names, address, email address, phone number, date and place of birth, nationality and gender; we also gather information on their educational background and playing experience. These data are used to guarantee the application and participation of the person(s) in question. These data are not used for any other purpose.
Youth Orchestra Flanders may also store certain data (address, email address, surname and given names, telephone number) and use them to keep participants informed of its activities and to send out newsletters. This is done solely with the express consent of the person in question.
In addition, Youth Orchestra Flanders may also collect, store and use visual materials (photos and video recordings) and sound recordings. These data are used for communication purposes (internal and external) only and are collected, stored and used solely with the express consent of the person in question. These personal data may be consulted at any time by the person in question, and that person may also request that the data be erased. Such a request must be made in writing via the above-mentioned contact details (email address: edb@brusselsphilharmonic.be).
Under-age participants:
We process the personal data of minors under 16 solely and exclusively if prior written consent has first been given by a parent or legal representative.
Third parties:
Youth Orchestra Flanders does not transmit any personal data to other parties unless doing so is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes (participation in the activities of Youth Orchestra Flanders). You have the right to refuse such consent and to withdraw it at any time.
Storage period:
Youth Orchestra Flanders stores personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or as required by law. The data are stored on our own secure servers.
Your rights concerning your data:
You have the right to consult and obtain a copy of the personal data relating to you. You have the right to correct and supplement them if the data about you are inaccurate or incomplete.
